Bad Service Gets you Zero!
I walked into a local scrapbook store this AM called Memories & Beyond and I was astonished at the horribly unfriendly service that I received. It was recently bought out by new owners, you would think that they would be super ambitious in selling their products. Everyone should know that a simple hello is a must to a customer walking in the door. I walk in, 4 ladies standing around, all look up at me, but none mutter hello. I was in the store for 10 min and not one person even said hello to me. It's sad, since the store has absolutely amazing products. I could of spent 100s of dollars, but refused to buy anything because I was so put off by their lack of customer service. If they are so unwilling to even acknowledge my existence, why should I help keep them in business.
Moral of the story...good customer service goes a long way!

Long story short, I found your blog doing a google image search for something totally unrelated but I just had to comment! I live just outside Chicago and I used to LOVE Memories & Beyond and was in there all the time. But the last time I was in there the new staff was rather snotty. I miss the old owner!
